Are you watching?
Waiting for me to fall?
Waiting for me to give up?
To give in?
Are you seeing me?
The real me?
Broken,
Battered,
Beaten,
What do you see?
A wounded animal?
A broken man?
Depressed and desperately reaching out?
What is it that you are looking for?
What is your motivation?
Is it the blood beneath my feet?
The wounds in my wrists?
The sadness in my dead eyes?
Are you trying to bring me back to life?
Inspire me to breath?
To feel?
To love?
To trust?
What can I give that you don't already have?
My broken heart to mend?
My aching bones to heal?
My despair to wash away?
Where are you taking me?
I'm lost,
Fighting for air,

It’s dark here,
In this particular corner of my mind,
This spot I go to,
When things get too heavy,
Too real,
This little space,
Filled with the memories we built,
My hideaway,
My escape,
From the thoughts that are chasing,
Slowly breaking me down,
Like razors dragged across my skin,
The poison in my veins,
The smoke in my lungs,
This is my place,
My saving grace,
But it’s so dark here,
So lonely where I stand,
A single mirror to reflect my thoughts,
My sole companion,
The demon on the otherside,
Telling me that it is okay,
That it will be alright,
That all I have to do is give in,
It will only take a mo
I'm tired, It has been a long road, A journey through many valleys and deserts, And I am tired, I am tired from the joys, The tears, The stressers, And the years, I am so very tired, The exhaustion sets in deeply, Like a chill on my bones, Or ice inside my soul, Why can't I rest awhile? Why is there nowhere to lie? When can I stop? Do I have to die? I am tired, Weak with time, Broken inside, Pretending I am fine, I act, To dispel your fears, I laugh, So you won't see my tears, I am so very tired, Just show me where I can lay my head, And there I will go, Just for a little while, Just for a rest.
If you knew where my heart will lay,
Would you try to to walk my way?
I sit watching everyday,
Seeing how the ravine grows,
Watching as you slip away,
Hurting with every word you didn't say,
Time stood still,
In the moment you entered my world,
I slowly gravitated to your will,
Now you are all I see,
As you slowly slip away from me,
In my brightest moments,
I remember your smile,
In my darkest times,
I see that same smile,
If you knew where my heart will lay,
Would you try to walk my way?
Would you try to close the gap,
And make your way back?
For love at a distance,
Is truly a one sided affair,
Where the only comfort,

As I walk alone beneath this starry night,
I choose my steps as carefully as my words,
As you are walking there next to me,
The night washes us further in the darkness,
In the darkness is where I met you,
Though it was the bright of day,
In the darkness is where I stood,
My despair overwhelming me,
You took my hand,
You showed me the way,
You were my guiding light,
In the darkness,
As the night envelopes us further in it's cold grasp,
I look to you to guide the way,
Forever you will be the light,
The light I'll always chase after,
In the darkness,
The light fights being washed away,
In the darkness,
You are so far away,
We continue down
This is just a train of thought that I wanted to share. If you read it, fair enough, if you don't, also fair enough.
I know I will never sit across from someone who would ask me what was the hardest thing I ever had to do; but, I think I want to answer that question. It isn't the interview question where they are trying to relate your work experience to your character and see if it is the right fit for the company. It definitely is the question you would ask a politician and expect an honest answer. No, if I were asked that question it would be a short answer with a long explanation.

Hello Arya,
My whole life I have waited for you,
When you came into my life,
My whole world changed,
Seeing you open your eyes,
So unafraid,
I couldn't help but to cry,
You came into my life like a whirlwind,
My emotions of joy and awe were only just beginning,
But I want to tell you a story,
It really is about where you began,
Your mother and I met long ago,
Shortly before my father had passed,
We kind of knew then that we liked each other,
(I was in love at first sight but tried to play it cool),
Your mother smiled at me,
Her shy grin,
I fell in love completely,
I had no other choice,
(She is that amazing),
We went out to eat,
And I fl

I Feel You Reach For Me
Taking a breath,
I stare into the night,
Remembering a time when I was young,
The cold crisp air bites at my lungs,
I take a step forward,
Not paying attention to where I am going,
Just trusting each step,
As it carries me closer to where you are,
I place my hand on the stone,
Its smooth surface reminds me of your skin,
The memories begin to flood in,
And in this moment I don't feel so alone,
The days when we could feel the warmth of the sun,
Beating gently down upon our faces,
Going out into the wilderness,
Just to see where we could get lost,
The feeling of knowing that you were always there,
Looking at me with with the love you held,

I saw the scars along her wrists and I wondered where the pain had come from,
She spoke quietly in between each sip,
As if her words would hurt her,
I sat in silence trying to get a grip,
But I knew this was bigger than me,
Her gaze saw past everything and yet she saw nothing,
So I had to ask,
"Where did the pain go?"
She took a moment before she replied,
Letting the stillness of the room settle in,
Her eyes focused on mine,
And gently her words began to flow,
"The pain never left," she said as her eyes began to grow distant,
"The pain sits at the center of your chest,
waiting for a moment of weakness. In the

I thought to let the deviantverse know that I also take pictures, but my pictures are on Instagram. great site, fun for the newer photographers like myself, and most of all easy to use. If you have it you can follow me at throadtoruin. If not I suggest you get it to capture the little beautiful moments. Thanks .
It's the day before Christmas and I want to wish the world a peaceful day. Knowing what I know, someone, somewhere is going to have a bad day. Keep your head up and know that the people around you are here for you and will do everything to set your world right again.
Love you all,
